St. Finbarr's College is a boys Christian secondary school founded in 1956 by a visiting Reverend father. The school is located in Akoka, Yaba, Lagos with day and boarding facilities for boys who have completed 6 years of primary school.

St. Finbarr's College admissions process is as follows: (1) Parents are required to complete and submit an application form obtainable from the school and other catholic schools in the catholic archdiocese of Lagos. (2) Prospective students are to sit for an entrance examination and successful students are required to attend an interview. (3) Successful students are offered a provisional admission and are required to open a school file and to provide copies of the following documents at presentation: 1. Provisional Admission letter 2. Primary School Leaving Certificate 3. Testimonial from primary school or equivalent 4. Student's Birth certificate 5. 4 colour passport photograph of the student 6. 1 passport photograph of each of the parents 7. One Thousand Naira (N1,000) for LASGEM form number. 8. Receipts of all payment 9. Junior NECO & BECE Result/Previous Class Result (for Transfer Students) (4) Parents are to present the prospective student's stool and urine at the school's clinic for medical test report.
